Heating is responsible for a large share of the UK's carbon emissions — and as a heating company, that puts us right at the heart of the solution. This is our plan: cut our own footprint, help every customer cut theirs, and report openly on both.
We won't ask customers to decarbonise their homes while ignoring our own operations. Our biggest impacts are our vans on the road and the energy used at our base — so that's where our plan starts.
The carbon we help customers avoid will always dwarf our own footprint. Every heat pump installed, every system tuned, and every home insulated is emissions saved year after year.
Air source heat pumps are up to 4x more efficient than gas boilers and run on increasingly renewable electricity. We survey, install and service them — and help you claim the £7,500 government grant.
Smart thermostats, TRVs and weather compensation squeeze more comfort out of less fuel — often the cheapest carbon saving available, whatever boiler or heat pump you have.
The greenest energy is the energy you never use. We advise on insulation, radiator sizing and system efficiency during every survey and service, so heat stays where it belongs — in your home.
A commitment without dates is just a wish. These are the milestones we'll hold ourselves to — and report against every year.
Complete our first full carbon footprint measurement — fleet fuel, premises energy and waste — so every future year has an honest starting point to be compared against.
Move our premises to a certified renewable electricity tariff and bring the first electric vans into the fleet as existing vehicles reach replacement.
Grow heat pump and low-carbon system installations to half of all installation work, backed by continued engineer training and accreditation.
Complete the transition to a fully electric van fleet, eliminating our largest single source of direct emissions.
Reach net zero across our own operations (scope 1 and 2), with any small residual emissions addressed through verified, high-quality offsetting only as a last resort.
Each year we'll publish a short, plain-English progress report on this page: what we measured, what improved, what didn't, and what we're doing about it. No greenwash, no cherry-picked numbers — if we miss a milestone, we'll say so and explain why.
Our first report will appear here following our baseline measurement year.
