The future of home
heating is here

A heat pump works like a fridge in reverse — it extracts warmth from the outside air or ground and uses it to heat your home and hot water. Even in cold British winters.

They're up to 4x more efficient than a gas boiler, which means for every unit of electricity they use, they produce 3–4 units of heat. Lower bills, lower carbon, cleaner home.

Heat pump FAQs

Do heat pumps work in cold UK winters?
Yes — modern air source heat pumps work efficiently down to -20°C. They're designed for British weather and will keep your home warm throughout the year.
Is my home suitable for a heat pump?
Most UK homes are suitable, especially if they have reasonable insulation. We carry out a free home survey to check and advise. Homes with cavity wall and loft insulation tend to see the best results.
How do I claim the £7,500 government grant?
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) provides a £7,500 grant for air source and air source heat pump installations. As an MCS certified installer, we apply for this on your behalf — you simply benefit from the reduced price.
Can a heat pump replace my existing radiators?
Often yes. Heat pumps work best at slightly lower temperatures than gas boilers, so in some cases we may recommend upgrading a few radiators to larger ones. We'll advise during the survey.
How noisy is a heat pump?
Modern heat pumps are very quiet — typically around 40–50 decibels, similar to a refrigerator. We always position the unit to minimise any impact on your home or neighbours.
